History
The patient’s medical history included periodontitis and previous prosthetic work; the old crowns had failed. The patient sought treatment, complaining of an inability to chew food properly and dissatisfaction with the appearance of his smile.
Treatment
After a detailed review of the clinical case, it was decided to perform surgery using the “all-on-four/six” technique. Implants were placed sequentially, and a temporary prosthetic restoration was fabricated and placed.
Result
The adaptation phase is always followed by a second visit, during which permanent dentures—reliable restorations that look as natural as possible—are fabricated and fitted.
