Case History
The patient presented with a complex problem: the teeth in the upper jaw were severely decayed, and the lower jaw lacked any molars. This not only affected the patient’s appearance but also caused serious difficulties with eating.
Treatment
The first stage of comprehensive rehabilitation: surgery was performed on the upper jaw using the All-on-6 protocol, with a temporary metal-acrylic prosthesis installed. This immediately restored the patient’s ability to smile and communicate comfortably. At the same time, implants were placed in the lateral regions of the lower jaw to prepare for the restoration of chewing function.
Result
Final stage of treatment: On the upper jaw, the temporary prosthesis was replaced with a permanent metal-ceramic bridge, which is both durable and highly aesthetic. On the lower jaw, the implants were fitted with prosthetics, and the patient regained full chewing function. This phased approach allows us to first restore the patient’s aesthetics and confidence, and then complete the functional aspect of treatment. The result is a harmonious smile, a restored bite, and full chewing function. The patient can once again smile freely, communicate comfortably, and eat without restrictions.
